Reshef and Shiff has represented investors (both foreign and Israeli) and commercial enterprises in Israel for decades. Much of our representation has gone beyond the narrow legalities of corporate structure and agreements, so that our clients benefit from many years of involvement in the business world. Our work in this area runs the gamut from investments in, and purchase and sale of businesses, to providing ongoing legal counsel and commercial advice to owners, directors and managers. Some of our clients in this area include Rafa Laboratories Ltd. (a pharmaceutical importer and manufacturer); Shalon Chemical Industries Ltd. (manufacturer of protective equipment for the military and civilian markets); Gilar Ltd. (importer and manufacturer of products for the construction industry); Afikim (manufacturer and importer of electric vehicles); as well as a multitude of companies in the areas of high tech, tourism, and more.
The firm also serves as counsel to Arledan Investments Ltd., an investment company which has bought and developed both commercial and residential properties in Israel and abroad since its incorporation in 1971, and is also the controlling shareholder of the Keter Publishing Company (one of Israel’s largest publishing houses and print plants), has a major holding in Telsys, an importer of electronic components for the Israeli high-tech industry, and is a partner in the Forrest Investment House.

The firm has also led and accompanied a number of transactions for the sales of companies and other businesses, in various commercial fields, including acting for the American shareholders in the sale of their control shares of Bank Hapoalim to the Arison group, and acting for investors or for companies in which investments are being made, in a wide range of fields.

Alongside the typical corporate transactions and reporting, our ongoing relationships with clients in this area include strategic planning; commercial negotiations, in both Israel and abroad; labor law; real estate law; regulatory law; commercial litigation; and more.
